Map billing

Your map account stays yours.

Connect your own Mapbox or Google Maps key. Your chosen provider bills map usage directly to you at its current rates.

Handled's subscription is separate. It covers the locator product, your location capacity and your team seats. Handled does not resell or mark up provider traffic.

Before you choose

What happens when the 7 days are up?

The locator stops serving on your site until you choose a plan. Your locations, settings and styling stay as you left them. Choosing a plan brings it back.

Do I need a card to start?

No. You only enter payment details when you choose a plan.

Why do I need a map key?

Mapbox or Google Maps renders the map on your account and bills you directly. Handled guides you through connecting the key, and the locator subscription remains separate.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, in either direction, from the billing screen. Moving down is only blocked if you have more locations than the smaller plan holds.

Can I take my location data with me?

Yes. Export your locations as CSV or JSON at any time. Handled stores the data to run your locator and does not sell it.
