    Install Handled Locator from WordPress.org, connect your Site ID in Settings, then add the block or [handled_locator] shortcode where the locator should appear.

    Use the plugin block in Gutenberg, or paste the hosted embed into Elementor, Divi or another builder. The locator renders in a shadow root so theme CSS cannot break it.

A visitor finds the nearest useful location without scanning the whole list.

Is there a WordPress plugin to install?
Yes. The official Handled Locator plugin provides a block and shortcode. You can also skip the plugin and paste the hosted embed into a Custom HTML block.
Will it work with Elementor, Divi or Gutenberg?
Yes. Any of them will accept an HTML or code widget, and the same embed goes in all three. The locator does not depend on a block type, a shortcode or a theme hook.
Will it slow the page down?
The whole widget stays under 95 KB gzipped, including search, filters and the results list, and the script loads asynchronously. Because it runs no PHP and stores no locations in your database, it adds nothing to your server's own response time.
Can I keep my existing theme styling?
Yes. The locator is isolated from your theme's CSS on purpose, then styled to match it from the Handled dashboard. Colours, fonts, corner radius, spacing and marker treatment are all settings, so you match your theme rather than fighting it with overrides.
Who pays for the map traffic?
You connect your own Mapbox or Google Maps key. That provider bills map usage directly; the Handled subscription covers the locator product, location capacity and team seats.
