The price range
Hosted store locator software commonly starts in the teens or twenties per month for a small location list. Price increases with location capacity, team seats, white-label delivery, integrations and support. Enterprise products may quote per location or per account instead of publishing a simple monthly plan.
Five questions to ask
A low advertised price is not automatically the lowest operating cost. Ask these questions before you compare plans.
- How many locations can I publish, and what happens at the limit?
- How many people can edit the data and settings?
- Are Google Maps or Mapbox charges included, passed through, or marked up?
- Are search, filters, hours, analytics, custom markers and CSS included?
- What happens to the locator if I cancel or change plans?
Handled's pricing model
Handled Locator publishes the price, location capacity and seat count for each self-serve plan. Starter is $19 per month for 200 locations, Pro is $39 for 2,000, and Business is $79 for 10,000. Every working self-serve setting is included on each plan. The seven-day trial requires no card.
Map usage is separate. You connect your own Google Maps or Mapbox key and the provider bills you directly. That adds one setup step, but it keeps the map relationship and usage cost visible to you.
Make a fair comparison
Compare the yearly total, not only the entry price. Include map requests, additional seats, setup work and the time your team spends cleaning location data. A product that saves a few dollars in subscription fees can still cost more if updates require manual rework.
