Choose a location type
Open Locations, then choose Add location, or open an existing record to edit it. Select the type before entering an address because each type represents a different visitor experience.
- Storefront has an exact address and map pin. It participates in nearest-first ordering.
- Service area has a center point and coverage radius. The map draws an area rather than presenting it as a walk-in shop.
- Online only has no address or distance. It appears in the locator's online tab instead of the physical map.
Place the location
For a storefront or service area, enter the public address and confirm the pin separately. The address is shown exactly as entered, while the coordinates decide where the marker or service circle appears.
- 1
Enter the complete address
Include city, region and postal code so geocoding has enough context. - 2
Check the suggested point
Move or correct the pin when the result lands on the wrong building, entrance or side of a large property. - 3
Set a service radius when needed
Service areas use kilometers for their stored coverage radius, even when a visitor later sees distance in miles.
Add public details
The Details tab accepts phone, email, website, photo URL, description and custom fields. Only add information intended for visitors. Custom fields can become facts or actions later through Layout & fields. An action can have its own visitor-facing label, URL, color and icon, so use stable names such as “Book service” or “Order online.”
Set the location timezone even when the account has a default. Hours and open-now status are calculated in the location's own timezone.
Visibility and priority
Set a location to Hidden when it should remain in the dashboard without appearing publicly. Priority promotes preferred or flagship locations, but it does not replace accurate coordinates or distance sorting.
See the broader location management capability, including CSV import, Google Sheets synchronization and the limits of the current public API.
